My First Book Release!!
Sir Luke: An Aspergian Tale is officially published and will be ready for purchase on April 4th through the J.M. Kiss store. This book has been 17 years in the making and is the beginning of my life as an author. It began as a poem. The day my son Luke was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome at 3 years old I felt very overwhelmed by the lack of normal that would be our future. I came home from the doctor with more questions than answers and so much unknown for my sweet Luke. So I sat down, began to write and within about 30 minutes Sir Luke came alive. I had no idea then that it would become a children’s book to share with the world. It is the first of many books. I have 3 more awaiting illustrations and 5 more ready to be written.
If you know of a child who struggles with change this book is for them. Sir Luke likes everything exactly the same everyday. Same food, same clothes, same everything! However, one day the villagers have a surprise in store for Sir Luke that disrupts his order and brings a new, interesting adventure into trying new things his way. Whether your child has Autism, Asperger’s, O.C.D. or just tends to like things predictable; this book will challenge them to try something new.
